The Alder Apartment

The Alder Apartment is large and sunny: it is on the second floor of an historical building and looks out onto the street.

As well as the main living/sleeping area there is a small kitchen area and a large private bathroom.

The main room looks out onto Nerudova, one of the most interesting streets in the centre of Prague. There is a good view over the top half of Malostranske Namesti and St.Nicholas' Church.
The main living/sleep is huge, and is furnished with a collection of antiques and paintings dating largely from the middle of the nineteenth century. There is a beautiful painted wardrobe in the corner which is over two hundred years old.
The kitchen area is small but well-equipped. The kitchen looks out onto a small courtyard. Outside the apartment itself in the common area for the Alder and Birch apartments is a washing machine and drier which you can use.

We have eleven studio apartments: Sycamore, Elm, Juniper, Walnut, Rosebush, Hazel, Poplar, Maple, Lime, Almond, Alder and Pine. All have private bathrooms and all have fridges and kettles: Rosebush and Alder also have private kitchens. We can put either single or double beds into any apartment.

All the apartments are right in the centre of the historical part of Prague, and are just a few minutes' walk from Charles' Bridge and Prague Castle. All the apartments are extremely quiet and peaceful.

The Elm Apartment

The Elm Apartment consists of a reasonably-sized livingroom/bedroom and a small corridor with a fridge and wardrobe. The bathroom is completely private and quite large and has a washing machine.

The bedroom/living room is easily big enough for two people. There is a flat-screen television with a satellite receiver.

The Rosebush Apartment

The Rosebush Apartment consists of a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a small kitchen and a private courtyard. This is an ideal choice if you would like to do some catering but are on a budget. In summer the courtyard is an extremely pleasant place to sit out and eat.

This apartment is at the top of the building. Please note that because of the historical importance of the building it has not been possible to add a lift: this apartment is therefore not suitable for people who are very frail. Obviously when you arrive you will be given help with your luggage if you need it.

The Walnut Apartment

The Walnut Apartment has a parquet floor and a beautiful wooden beam across the ceiling. The bedroom is quite small while the en-suite bathroom is surprisingly large.

The main living room/bedroom: this looks out onto a private courtyard (below).

The Juniper Apartment

The Juniper Apartment has a beautiful wooden ceiling which makes it especially cozy. It looks out onto a small courtyard.

The apartment is suitable for up to two people - we can provide two single beds rather than a double if you prefer. The apartment has its own en-suite bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped. It looks out onto another historical courtyard (left).

Because of the lay-out of the building this apartment is very private. It is on the second floor of the building (US/Canada: third floor).

The Hazel Apartment

The Hazel Apartment is an economical choice which is ideal for a couple or two friends. The space itself is small, but it is sunny and has access to a beautiful balcony with spectacular views over the park. The balcony is on the roof of the building and you will be sharing this with people from one other room. The apartment itself looks out onto a courtyard, so it is very quiet and peaceful. You will have your own private bathroom a small fridge and a kettle for making drinks.

The Pine Apartment

The Pine Apartment is a small self-contained apartment right at the top of the building.  The main room has views over Nerudova Street, which is one of the most historically significant streets in the whole of the Czech Republic.  The room has a tiny private bathroom, and access to a shared kitchen on the floor below.  The Pine Apartment is built into the loft of the building: it is very romantic, and ideal for somebody who likes oak beams.  It is not suitable for older people because there are a number of steps to climb.

The apartment is in a beautiful location, very close to both Charles Bridge or Prague Castle. You will be staying right next to Morzin Palace (now the site of the Romanian Embassy) and directly opposite Thun-Hohenstein Palace (used by the Italian Embassy).

The Poplar Apartment

The Poplar Apartment is a small self-contained loft apartment with an unusual layout. It is right at the top of the building, so it is extremely quiet and peaceful.

To get to Poplar you go up a private staircase to an ante-chamber. Beyond this is your main room and bathroom. Both rooms have oak beams and are decorated with beautiful antique furniture which matches the style of the building.

Poplar is ideal for a young couple, but may not be suitable for older people who might have difficulty climbing the steps.

The Maple Apartment

The Maple Apartment is a duplex apartment (on two levels). The top level has a sitting area, which looks out onto a quiet courtyard, and a large sleeping area. There is a private bathroom. In addition, downstairs there is a jacuzzi and a set of fitted cupboards.

Adjacent to your main room is a sitting area (right) which you share with one other apartment. This room has lovely views over the park (above, right), and has a small fridge and kettle so you can make drinks and snacks.

The Almond Apartment

The Almond Apartment is a lovely little space tucked away at the back of the building. The room is more than big enough for two people, and it has a large private bathroom. It doesn't have a view, but it has windows which let in light from the hallway.

The bathroom was completely refurbished in 2007.

The Lime Apartment

The Lime Apartment is an ideal solution if you are travelling on a budget, but would still like the privacy of your own bathroom. The Lime Apartment consists of a main living/bedroom and a huge en-suite bathroom.

The Sycamore Apartment

The Sycamore Aparment has one main room looking out onto a small courtyard, together with fully private en-suite bathroom. There is a fridge and a kettle in the room so you can make your own hot drinks and snacks.
